PTA Meeting & Parent Orientation Details

PTA MEETING & PARENT ORIENTATION Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, 6:00 in the Gym. Teachers will be introduced as well as our Fall Fundraiser. At 6:30 p.m., parents will be dismissed to visit a classroom of choice where a 30 minute orientation session will occur. Bells will ring at 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for parents to move to as many as three classrooms before 8:00. Faculty members will provide vital information about how classroom academics, rules, and procedures. Confidential PIN numbers for STI Home will be distributed by the homeroom teachers. Those not picked up by parents on Tuesday night, will be sent home with the report cards at the end of first quarter. Please be mindful that teachers will not discuss individual student progress that evening, but conferences may be arranged for a later date to provide individualized information.
